Koala eating gum leaf. This is a pastel painting I did in January 1986. As far as I know it is now in the USA, bought by a visitor to Mayes Cottage when it was being used as a Gallery. |
Koala Another of my paintings in pastels. Painted in April 1986. Pastels is a great medium for achieving the realistic texture of fur. |
Yet another Koala. This is an actual photo of a Koala in its natural habitat. I don't know who took the photo, but I chose it because the lighting effect lets you see the length of the fur around the ears and shoulders, This is a good photo. Click on it to see a larger version and you will see what I mean. |

Koala and baby. This is another of my paintings, yes koalas do go for a walk occasionaly. This one is taking it's baby on a walkabout, they come down from one tree and walk to another to climb in search of food. |

Hello Koala Hi there, do I know you? Would you like to come up to my place for a visit?. |
Study Koala I think this little furry bundle has taken up a study of people. He is probably thinking "I wonder what these funny looking things are, and what are they gawking at?". |
Sleepy Koala. Please do not disturb, I have had a busy night. |
Inquisitive Koala. Who do you think you are looking at? You big ugly human. I don't think I like the look of you, buzz off. |
Koala in Trouble. Help! get me out of here. I seem to be in a bit of a pickle. |
Indignant Koala Hey! I thought I told you to get lost. Let's have a little privacy here hmm. |
Possessive Koala. This is my tree and you can't have it. Go and find your own tree. |
Walk-about Koala. That's it, I'm outa here. What does a bloke have to do to get a little privacy around here? |
