ABOUT ME

I am an amateur photographer and have been doing photography since 1999 and I’m extremely passionate about Pet and Action Photography, whilst I do all different sorts of photos. (nature, flowers, cars, portraits and weddings)

Most of my photos are taken outdoors, but I do also have my own studio equipment.

- My pet photography includes dogs, horses, frogs and lizards, but will photograph anything that moves.

- My action photography includes, Jet Sprint Racing, Car Racing, Horse Showjumping, Greyhound Racing, Motocross, Freestyle Motocross, Cycling, Go-Karts, Bull Riding, etc again anything that moves.

I enjoy the challenge of taking action photos and the difficulty of trying to capture that spur of the moment shot.

I’m prepared to travel anywhere in Brisbane and for a small additional fee will travel to the Gold Coast or Sunshine Coast.

Some my photos have appeared in the Sunday Mail Festival of Photography competition and also on Talk to the Animals. I’ve also been a member of Brisbane Camera Club since 2003. One day I would like to turn my hobby into a full time career.

I've completed the following Tafe courses : -

- "Introduction to the SLR" undertaken at the Gateway College of Tafe,

- "Beyond the Basics" undertaken at the Ashmore College of Tafe; and

- "Photography - Professional Style" undertaken at Brisbane and North Point Institute of Tafe; and

- Correspondence course held through "Australian Photography"; and

- "Travel and Landscape Photography" undertaken at Ithac Tafe.

Just Hangin On Bad Hair Day

These two photos were entered in the Intercamera Club Competition between Brisbane Camera Club and Coalchester (England) 2006.
Approximately 60 entries were received in total.

My Frog (Just Hangin On) scored 10 out of 10 and my Dog (Bad Hair Day) also scored 10 out of 10.

Frog On a Stick Rough Knob Tailed Gecko

These two photos were recently entered in the Glennie International Nature Competition in April 2011, run by Merrimack Valley Camera Club.
97 Camera Clubs across the world entered with 959 entries received in total.

My Frog on a Stick scored 21 out of 30 and the Gecko scored 20 out of 30.

Competition was judged by 3 Judges.
