4.3 Peregrine elevation cut-out   continued

   4.3.2.2 Cloud inversion:
The Cabramurra meteorological site is at 1450m and the Tantangara meteorological site is at 1240m with a 210m difference in elevation. Whilst this is a very small margin there is a significant difference in the number of fog days between the two locations. Over a nine year period, Cabramurra had 799 days of fog compared to 32 fog days at Tantangara. Fog occurs at Cabramurra, on average, 25 times more than at Tantangara.
