The Memories

A long time ago at a little surf club on the Central Coast called Killcare, four mates liked to play in the sand together. They were Kevin Lowe, Greg White, Colin & Phillip Tubby & they ran together as a beach relay team. This team didn't do to badly either, coming 5th in the 1982 State Championships.

The Dreaming

Killcare SLSC in August 2000, held their 70th reunion dinner. It was a fabulous night with a few frothy chops and a couple of long tales. Before the night was through the old boys had been challenged by the young guns (world relay champs 99 ) to reform and compete in the masters carnivals. ‘The dream’ is for the open and master teams to both win the State, National & World Titles for Killcare SLSC.

Since the young guns have the looks, the old fellas' wanted the fame & they needed a catchy name. It couldn't have been anything else really! The 'Killcare Relics On Carnival Safari' or 'K.R.O.C.S.' as we like to call them, were founded and the logo worn with pride!

The Awakening

Do you wish to become part of a 'legend' in the making? We'd love some new K.R.O.C.S. to join us on the sand and in the water . So, if your a life saver and over 30, why not give us a go. We're really a friendly bunch and we won't bite! We'd rather visit the beer tent; just to re-hydrate of coarse.
