Tyrrell Downs Short Course
Stuart and Melissa Crowe won a very windy and dusty Mallee Shield event at Tyrrell Downs on Saturday, September 20, 2008. An excellent field of forty cars started the event.
Second outright and second in Pro Class were Jamie and Tom Robinson. Butch Amos
and Ricky Matthews were third in this class.
First Super 1650 and third outright were Travis and Gary Conrad, followed by Ken
Holt and Jim Coombs. David Middlemiss and Alice Slade were third in Class 2.
Craig Button was the first tin top home in Class 4 (Extreme 2WD). The first
Class 5 (Performance 2WD) went to Bernie Clohesy and Kim Stacey.
Neil and Sam Bowles were first in Class 3 (Sportsman Buggy) followed by Ben
Philp and Paul Symes.
Donald event director Owen Anderson had a rollover after the half time break.
Ross Allan ran out of fuel. Twenty-three vehicles finished the event.
