Warringine Park Westernport Bay model

The high and low tide levels are controlled by a disc valve on the inside of the model, while on the outside another disc valve sets the climatic regime for the sea level, from Ice Age to Greenhouse Effect. Below is the outer disc valve. The valves had to be completely safe for children, utterly reliable and very robust, as well as inexpensive given the very small budget.
