Botfield specialises in red hide and white hide Australian work whips
and kangaroo hide stockwhips, but will also take orders for driving
whips, bull whips, bullock whips, etc. Rodney's whips are completely
hand made and can be designed to suit any personal taste. Rodney has been plaiting for 20 years. The last 10 years have been spent full time whip making and he supplies many major retail outlets as well as saddlers and private customers. Kangaroo hide stockwhips from 5ft to 7ft, 6 to 20 strand made to your
requirements the old fashioned way. All full plait handles are steel lined mild cane.
Only a limited number are available per year as I build each whip to
order. Prices range from approximately AUD$150 to AUD$600.
Kangaroo hide bullwhips from 6ft to 10ft in either 12 or 16 strand made
over a double plaited belly. Prices range from AUD$240 to AUD$380.
