St. Ninian's, Clarendon

St. Ninian's, Clarendon

The Church of St. Ninian at Clarendon has been used for services since 1889. Originally the building was a Baptist School room and was used for services until 1923 when it was purchased from the Baptists. On the 9th May 1926, Bishop Nutter Thomas, the Bishop of Adelaide dedicated it to St. Ninian. It has been attached to many different parishes over its lifetime but has spent most of its time with the Parish of O'Halloran Hill. In 1994 it became part of the newly formed Parish of Happy Valley based in Aberfoyle Park. The services are held each Sunday at 7.45 a.m. The Church has a small band of faithful who come each week. In 2006 the Church was repaired and rennovated on the outside and a paved area added to the rear of the Church.
