Procon Technology now stocks the full line of fischertechnik PROFI construction kits. Back by popular demand and of interest to the young electronic enthusiast is the Profi Sensoric kit (30491). This kit provides 360 parts with a detailed 33 page manual describing the construction of seven automated models. These models include; hand-dryer, cash dispenser, candy dispenser, sorting machine, metered dispenser, automatic stamper and egg cooling machine.

This kit is useful for educational and training purposes in the fields of science and technology. In addition, this product may be used for simulation and prototyping purposes - besides providing a fun way to understanding everyday technology!

The electronic FLIP-FLOP unit - provided with this kit - allows each model to be automated. By connecting two different sensors (magnetic reed switch, photo-transistor, temperature sensor or micro-switch) the unit may toggle two outputs (motor or lamp) alternately on and off. The flip-flop unit includes two sensitivity controls and four indicating LEDs.

Included in the kit are; one flip-flop unit, one motor and gearbox, one reed switch and magnetic actuator, two micro-switches, one thermistor, one photo-transistor, two lamps, one 9V battery holder (a 9V battery is provided by Procon Technology) and other assembly components.

STOP PRESS, our LLWIN or ROBOPro program examples provided with the Computing Starter Pack kit now allows the seven projects in the Profi Sensoric kit (30491) to be controlled by the 30402 or 93293 interface rather than using the Flop-Flop unit. This provides a natural upgrade path from the Sensoric kit to using computer control!
