Started music carrer with the Tamworth Police Boys club and
after 3 years began to learn the guitar.His father Geoff Brown who is a
foundation member of the Local Country Music Club taught him to play the
guitar at the age of 13.Gary played with school Rock&Roll bands through
High school and at this stage was working as a session musician at Hadley
Recording Studios here in Tamworth.Not long after finishing High school
Gary went to Sydney to work with Nev Nicholes and the Country Play boys
which where than the resident band at the Texas Tavern Hotel near Kings
Cross in Sydney.He continued to do this and work as a session musician
for three years at which time Lots of changes were taking place in the
entertainment industry.It was than that he decided to stay full time in
Tamworth and work as a musician from there.He currently operates HILLTOP
DIGITAL RECORDING STUDIO which he started to build back in 1995.
