CLELIA ADAMS Clelia started her music career as a journalist and girl-friday with Australia's first pop magazine "Go-set"in 1967,then joined the product and marketing division of W.E.A. records in Sydney and London before moving to Tamworth in 1974. She has extensive experience in the management,marketing and performance side of the industry. Clelia's musical background includes cult country-rock band "The new england rangers",an all-girl trio "Skarlett" Who specialised in recording studio and live radio back-up work.Clelia continues to be the most sort after session singer in Tamworth.Throughout the 80's Clelia worked in the North's most prominent and successful Rock'n Roll duo "Garry & Clelia Adams".The duo were pioneers in midi technology,making them the mainstay in major dance venues through the north. A serious Life-threatening illness forced Clelia to retire for a number of years, and after major Brain surgery and gruelling rehabilitation, she is back on stage doing what she loves best-performing, much to the delight of her audiences and fans. 1996 saw a long time ambition come to fruition-her debut solo album "Fine Company"was released.Her "self indulgent project from the heart" wove together a life-times musical influences with intense emotional depth and passion. Music spanning the spectrum from Country,Blues,Jazz, R&B, "Roots Music", universal and ageless.
