Biography
This vibrant young country performer resides in
Northern NSW Australia. Brock’s passion for music became evident as early as two years of age, when he
displayed memory, rhythm and audience captivation seemingly unnatural in a child that age.
His formal music education began when he was four. He studied classical piano and guitar.
Brock also plays drums, mandolin and bass guitar.
Brock has performed extensively at Eisteddfods and talent Quests throughout NSW, QLD and ACT with many successes. In both 2002 and 2003 Brock was accepted as one of the top thirty one Australasian young country music performers to be hosted by the prestigious "Tamworth Camerata" (Junior Country Music School). Students in the music school were exposed to many facets of the industry.
Brock now hosts his own solo and duo shows, performing in hotels, clubs and charities throughout NSW and QLD.He brings a fresh and exciting approach to country music. His diversity is displayed with his "specialist acoustic guitar finger picking" or in comparison, his ability to play electric lead and "bring the walls down" with his country rock.
Brock’s songwriting and songs bring an innovative flavour and unique style to the Australian country music scene. His love of music is reflected in every moment of his performance.Brock’s ability to captivate an audience, along with his professional manner, has established him as a true crowd pleaser.
In July 2004, Brock’s debut CD was released under the capable production of "Bushwacker" Roger Corbett. The EP features 5 songs plus a bonus track. Here is a true showcase of Brock’s ability, combined with the talents of a group of the industry’s leading musicians.
Brock’s future aspirations are towards a successful career in the country music industry. He loves what he is doing and every day aspires to keep on entertaining, sharing and doing what he does best "Country Music"!
