AQUACRAB™, as a specialist in the development of aquaculture projects, provides engineering expertise combined with industry-specific technologies to offer clients, investors or developers.

The services offered by AQUACRAB™ are based on the extensive background of the principals in food processing and aquaculture projects. These projects have included prawn processing plants, high intensity barramundi farming, marron farming and an intense research programme into aquaculture and its related problems. AQUACRAB™ will work as a consultant group to bring your aquaculture project from concept to profitable reality.

INVESTIGATE SITES

AQUACRAB™ will:

	Locate suitable sites for aquaculture projects
	Investigate and report on requirement of statutory authorities for granting approval of the sites for aquaculture use for the selected species
	Investigate and report on environment issues pertaining to the site.
	Investigate and report on site availability of required services for the selected species.

OBTAIN PERMITS AND APPROVALS

AQUACRAB™ will submit for approval:-

	Application for Aquaculture Fishery Licences from State Authorities
	Environmental Impact Statement to relevant Government Authorities, both State and Federal.
	Project Development Application to Local Authorities.
	Building Applications to Local Authorities.
	For AQIS Licences for Export of Fish and Fish Products (where necessary).
	Processing Licences under Factories Act for food products.
	Environmentally relevant activities.

DESIGN FACILITIES

AQUACRAB™ will design to Australian or International standards and obtain approvals from statutory authorities. Their activities will include:

    Process Layout and Flow Sheets

    Civil

·     Structural

·     Mechanical

·     Electrical/Electronic

·     Hydraulic

·     Processing

·     Computer programming (where necessary)

All for the species selected and extent of processing required

Design facilities to meet relevant standards of countries that will import the product

PROJECT MANAGEMENT FOR FACILITIES CONSTRUCTION

AQUACRAB™ will:

Prepare the project budget and implementation schedule

Prepare sub-contracts and equipment-supplier tender briefs

Call for sub-contract and equipment-supplier prices

Recommend sub-contractors and equipment-suppliers for clients' board selection

Prepare sub-contracts and equipment-supplier contracts and supervise the works.

Control project expenditure and report monthly

Supervise the construction

Commission the facilities

MANAGE THE FACILITY (IF REQUIRED)

AQUACRAB™ will appoint staff:

· Manager

· Accountant

· Clerk/receptionist

· Aquaculturist

· Fishery biologist (part time)

· Maintenance officer

· Security officer

· Plant employees

· Processing employees

MARKET THE PRODUCTION (IF REQUIRED)

Where the client requires it marketing of the production will be arranged both locally and internationally for the best obtainable prices.

PREPARE FINANCIAL STATEMENTS AND REPORTS

AQUACRAB™ will:

	Prepare business plans for any aquaculture project
	Prepare market surveys for both local and international markets for any type of fish or crustacea
	Prepare a prospectus when required for companies wishing to make private placements or list on the stock exchange
	Prepare environmental management plans
	Arrange listings on the stock exchange
	Arrange underwriting (where appropriate)

Our fees for the work will be provided in writing on identification of our client and establishment of the size, nature and general location of the proposed facility.

ARRANGE JOINT VENTURE PARTNERS

AQUACRAB™ will work with clients to establish joint-venture partners if required. This allows investors with less financial backing to participate in the rapidly-developing and very profitable arena of aquaculture.
