Lost in Yonkers

Our next theatre party at Chester Street Theatre in November is a play written by Neil Simon.

Set in Yonkers in New York in 1942, ‘Lost in Yonkers’ is a touching coming of age tale of teenage brothers Arty and Jay, in the care of their Grandma Kurnitz. Other members of the dysfunctional family are Aunt Bella and her sister Gert, and the boys’ gangster uncle, Louie, who is hiding out in the family home. The play tells the story of the importance of acceptance and love, despite the hardship of life in Yonkers.

This should be an entertaining evening. The performance is at 8.00 p.m. and the cost is $15 per person.
