The walk in April will be around the village of Woolwich and its foreshores
We begin with the 9:10am train from Epping Station and travel to Circular Quay, where we will get a ferry to Valentia Street ferry wharf, Woolwich.
After morning tea at Valencia St, we do a walking tour which includes the historic and rather grand houses of Woolwich, Woolwich Baths and Woolwich Lookout, with its views over the Harbour to the city. We walk across The Goat Paddock to historic Morts Dock and workshop, then on to Clarkes Point Reserve for lunch.
After lunch we cross The Horse Paddock to Kellys Bush, the site of Sydney’s first ever ‘Green Ban’ in 1971.
Return to Epping will be by bus and train.
