The walk for May is the Federation Coastal Cliff Walk from Dover Heights to Watsons Bay. This walk has been extended by joining up various short sections and was recently officially opened by Premier Carr.

We assemble at Epping Station for the 8:56am train to Town Hall where we change for Bondi Junction. From Bondi Junction we get a bus to Dover Heights.

The walk starts at Raleigh Reserve, Dover Heights where we will take a morning tea break.

The walk proceeds via Rodney Reserve, Dudley Page Reserve, Dover Heights Reserve & Diamond Bay Reserve to Christison Park, where we will stop for lunch. The walk crosses a timber board-walk and stairs through some difficult terrain and features grassy areas, sandstone outcrops, cliffs and coastal heath.

After lunch we pass the Macquarie Lighthouse on the way to Watsons Bay for return to Epping by ferry and train.
