Our walk on Thursday 25 September 2008 is from Tempe Station to Canterbury Station, following the Cooks River through several parks and extensive lush green fields.

We will assemble at Epping Station for the 9.24 am train to Redfern, changing there for another to Tempe. This is an easy walk of approximately 5.5 kilometres along a cycleway on level ground. The path follows the snake-like pattern of the Cooks River and includes an external look at the old historic sugar works in Canterbury, now converted to an exclusive block of units.
