Plans have been changed for our projected walk for this month on Thursday, 25 November 2010. It was to be from Spit Bridge to Manly but after further consideration of track conditions and there being a possibility of warmer weather, it has been decided to break this walk into two parts, the second part to be included early in the programme for calendar 2011. Arising, we will assemble at Epping Station to take the 8.41 a.m. train to Central where we will switch to the train for Circular Quay.

From Circular Quay we will embark from Wharf 3 on the 10.00 a.m. ferry to Manly. Upon leaving the ferry at 10.30 a.m., we will hurry to the bus stop at West Esplanade Stand "C" and take the 10.42 a.m. Route 132 bus to Woodlands Avenue, Balgowlah Heights.

From there, we have a short walk to Dobroyd Head Scenic Area where we will enjoy a late morning tea, followed by our walk back to Manly via Reef Beach, Forty Baskets Beach and Wellings, Reserve. It is our choice as to which of either of the two last mentioned points we stop for lunch.

After lunch we complete our walk and head for Manly and home. Should we be delayed and miss our bus, we can walk to Dobroyd Head from Manly and take the bus back from there.
