We will assemble at Epping Station for the 8.54 am train to Wynyard then travel by bus to the Spit Bridge. We cross the bridge to a park alongside where we will enjoy morning tea, hear the remains of the Old Punt Ramp. From this park we follow pat of the old tramline path, as we head for Fisher Bay, Sandy Bay and Clontarf Reserve and swimming pool, passing through Cradle Rock Reserve and finishing up at Crater Cove Lookout. Here, with a direct view of the Heads, we can appreciate their width of approximately 1,500 metres as we take in this spectacle. At his point, we leave the track to have lunch at Tania Park just above.

Return to Epping will be by bus to either North Sydney Station and/or Wynyard for the train, or alternatively, by Manly ferry and train
