Our walk on Thursday 24 May 2007 is from Bayview Park (Canada Bay) to Abbotsford Wharf. We will assemble at Epping Station for the 9.24 am train to Burwood and then by bus to Bayview Park for morning tea. Our walk commences following the foreshores of Canada Bay and along Lyons Road, briefly before returning to Hen & Chicken Bay and Halliday Park. We continue on to the former Quarantine Reserve completed in 1920 and closing in 1980. Sheltered amenities here will be our venue for lunch before completing the remaining 20 minutes of our walk through Battersea Park back to the ferry to Circular Quay and the train home.
