Our walk on Thursday 23 October 2008 is a visit to "The Campbell Rhododendron Gardens" of Blackheath.

We will assemble at Epping Station for the 8.05 am train to Strathfield, changing there for the 8.38 am intercity train to Blackheath.

On arrival, morning tea will be taken at nearby "The Gardens" park. A short 15 minute walk to our destination will then find us surrounded by a cavalcade of colour, comprising Rhododendrons and Azaleas now at their very best. Our lunch and many walks can be enjoyed amidst natural settings within this 45 acre woodland garden. (Your camera is a must). Our return will be by the 2.25 pm train from Blackheath via Strathfield, arriving Epping at 4.58 pm.
