This is a 4 day/3 night coach tour based at the 4-star Quality Inn Ambassador Motel in Orange. Highlights include:

Day 1, Sunday 27 May.  Coach to Abercrombie House, a heritage treasure of Bathurst for a guided tour and lunch.  This is followed by a visit to the National Motor Racing Museum which celebrates the history and personalities of Australian Motor Sports.  We then continue on to our motel in Orange for three nights.

Day 2, Monday 28 May.  Local guided tour of Orange and Lake Canobolas then on to the historic village of Carcoar, (settled in 1821) for lunch and to see the beautifully restored heritage buildings, stone stables, the 1848 Edmund Blacket St Paul’s church and the Carcoar Hospital Museum from 1860.

Day 3, Tuesday 29 May.  A guided bushranger tour to the 1860’s visiting Eugowra Rocks, Canowindra, learn about Frederick Pottinger and the bushrangers Frank Gardener, Johnny Gilbert, Ben Hall and others.  In the afternoon we will see the ancient fossils in the Age of Fishers Museum

Day 4 Wednesday 30 May.  Return to Sydney via Mount Panorama visit the Ben Chifley home in Bathurst.
