Our July outing last year was a trip to the Blue Mountains for lunch at a Blackheath Hotel and proved very popular with 42 attending, so we are doing it again this year.

We have booked lunch at Gardners Inn in Blackheath, just across the road from the Railway Station. Their signature meal is their ‘Deep Dish Pie Deal’ served in a casserole dish and topped with puff pastry.

Meet at Epping Station to catch the 9:24am train to Strathfield where we connect with the 10:08am train to the mountains, arriving at Blackheath shortly after mid-day. The return train at 2:25pm will have us at Epping just before 5:00pm.
