History tour of Luna Park

For our February outing we will take the highly recommended guided tour of Luna Park.

Relive the fun as we explore past attractions at the park including the rides and nostalgic charm of Coney Island.

Discover the fascinating story of the transport hub and the Sydney Harbour Bridge construction workshops that once existed on site.

Admire the artwork of Arthur Barton and the many artists who have worked at the park including Ashley Taylor, the current artist in residence.

Find out what happens behind the scenes and many enlightening facts. Enjoy a classic ride on the Carousel or the Ferris Wheel.

We will meet at Epping station to catch the 9:19 on platform 5 to Milsons Point, from which a short downhill walk leads to Luna Park. Afterwards we can take the ferry from Milsons point to Circular Quay, and on home.

The cost will be $22.50 each, which covers the tour, morning tea, a ride, and a booklet on the history. After the tour we can lunch at a cafe in the Park, at our own expense.
