This outing consists of a train trip to Woy Woy, a bus journey to Ettalong, Lunch at the Ettalong Beach War Memorial Club, a ferry trip to Palm Beach, a bus trip to Wynyard and train back to Epping

If the seas are to high for the ferry trip we can return the way we traveled to Ettalong

We meet at Epping Station at 9.50 am in time to catch the 9.59 am train to Hornsby. Change at Hornsby for the train to Woy Woy.

At Woy Woy catch the Busways route 52 bus departing at 11.27 am to Ettalong.

Lunch at the Ettalong Beach War Memorial Club comprises either
  1. Roast of the day served with gravy and roast vegetables or

 
  • Beer Battered Fish Fillets served with chips and salad or

    Please indicate preference when booking
  • Homemade Pie served with steamed vegetables

    Plus a selected desert with tea or coffee

    After lunch either walk or take the courtesy bus to Ettalong Wharf and catch the 2.30 pm ferry to Palm Beach. Enjoy the excellent view of Lion Island and the mouth of the Hawkesbury River.

    At Palm Beach catch the L90 bus to Wynyard (it departs at either 3.04 pm or 3.34 pm). The bus journey time is approx 1½ hours. At Wynyard transfer to a train to Epping.
