OUTINGS
February
The advertisement in the Probus magazine calls it ‘A Day to Remember’. On February 20th our day trip will be a train and ferry trip to Davistown on the Central Coast for lunch at the Davistown RSL.
We depart Epping station at 9:39am (Hornsby at 9:51am) for Woy Woy, arriving at 10:27am. We then transfer to a modern Central Coast Ferry for the trip across to Davistown. There is a 10 minute walk from the Davistown wharf to the Club but a courtesy bus is a available for those who require it. Please let me know if you want the bus.
Return after lunch will be by ferry and train, arriving at Epping at 3:15pm. On the return trip there should be time for a walk around Woy Woy, once described by Spike Milligan as the world’s biggest cemetery.
Cost of the day is $15 for the ferry and lunch, plus the usual $2.50 for the train.
