"SPRING BBQ TIME LUNCHEON CRUISE"

Our outing this month is a scenic luncheon cruise on the Hawkesbury River, surrounded by sandstone cliffs and National Park on board the historic all-weather vessel "MV Macquarie Princess". This boat was built in 1915 and is the oldest operating riverboat on the eastern seaboard.

During the two and a half hour cruise we will be served the BBQ special of steak, sausages, fried onions and BBQ prawn skewers, with bread rolls and salads. Dessert cake and tea or freshly percolated coffee complete the meal.

Drinks are available on board at your own additional cost but ‘reasonably priced’.

The cruise leaves from Berowra Waters Marina, Bay Road, Berowra Waters at 11:30am returning at 2:00pm.

Transport will be by own vehicle or car pool. Those who want to car pool, meet at Panthers West Epping Bowling Club at 10:30am for departure to Berowra.

Cost for the day is $30.
