Guided tour of State Library of NSW
For our March outing the volunteers at the State Library will give us a guided History and Heritage tour of the Mitchell wing, covering architectural features and history, and including a visit to the Shakespeare room. We will also have some time to view the exhibition of the natural history art of John William Lewin. Afterwards we will proceed to the Bowler's club for their highly regarded smorgasbord lunch.
We will meet at Epping to catch the 9:27 train from platform 2, changing at Town Hall for Martin Place.
The cost for the tour and lunch will be $22.50.
The 9.27 am train from Epping should arrive at Town Hall Station at 10.07 am
The 9.16 am train from Cheltenham should arrive at Epping Station at 9.19 am and then proceeds to Town Hall Station where is should arrive at 9.59 am
A train departs Town Hall Station for Martin Place Station at 10.16 am
