This month’s outing is on 19 March 07 and will be by train to the Australian Broadcasting Corporation Ultimo Centre at 700 Harris Street Ultimo.

We assemble at Epping station to catch the 8.38 am train to the city Central station, where we will take a short walk to the ABC Ultimo Centre.

The tours start at 9.50 a.m. and can accommodate a maximum of 30 people.

The tour is likely to include a visit to one of their two digital state-of-the-art television production studios, an on-air radio studio, a news studio and control room, as well as an insight into a variety of other ABC activities, including Archives and New Media.

Lunch is at the Santos Coffee Bars in Powerhouse Museum at 12.00 noon.

After lunch we may continue our outing in the Power House Museum or opt for returning to Epping by train / bus.

Cost for the day is $17.00 per person plus fares and drinks if required.
