DAY OUTINGS

19th February 2007 – Cronulla / Bundeena Train & Ferry Trip

Our first outing for the year is on Monday, 19 February 2007. We will catch a train to Cronulla and then transfer to a ferry to Bundeena.

We will assemble at Epping station to catch the 8:38 am train to Redfern, where we will alight to catch the 9:24 am train to Cronulla. Here we will transfer to the 10:50 am ferry to Bundeena. The ferry trip takes about 20 minutes.

Bundeena, isolated from the rest of Sydney, is flanked by the Royal National Park on three sides and by a series of spectacular beaches looking out over Port Hacking on the other.

At 12:30 pm we will lunch at Bundeena RSL.

At Bundeena we can either stroll along the beautiful beaches or make a tour of the village and visit the Mary’s Working Studio in Mary Street.

We return to Cronulla via the 3:00 pm ferry and catch the 3:39 pm to Central. At Central we connect to the 4:49 pm train back to Epping.

Cost for the day is $20.00 per person plus fares and drinks if required.
