Monday 18th May 2009
Last September we went to Berowra Waters for lunch at The Waterview Restaurant. The day proved particularly popular with those who attended so we are going there again this year.
Renowned for its quality dining, the restaurant has amazing views over the river, marina and national park.
May is ‘Best of British Comedies’ month at the Waterview and we will be entertained all over again by Reg Varney ‘On the Buses’ and the clever writing of the ‘Dick Emery Show’, shown on the big 2.1 metre screen.
Lunch will consist of two courses, with soft drinks and wine served with the meal. Last year people couldn’t believe the choice of desserts and most people had more than one. Beer and spirits if required are to your own account. Tea or coffee will follow the meal.
Transport will be by own vehicle or car pool. Meet at Panthers West Epping Bowling Club at 11:00am for departure to Berowra. Lunch takes place between 12:00noon and 2:30pm.
We require a minimum of 40 people to confirm the booking so we have invited Cheltenham Probus to join with us on the day. Hopefully we won’t have to cancel.
Cost for the day is $27.50.
