Following or successful visit to the North Head wastewater treatment plant, our July outing will be a guided tour of the water treatment facilities at St Marys. Unlike the North head plant, 4 stages of treatment occur at St Marys. We will see whether our guide demonstrates the drinkability of the final output.

After the visit we will lunch at the Band club in St Marys, which provides a comprehensive smorgasboard.

There being no suitable public transport, we will need to travel by car, so we should try to form car pools at the previous general meeting. Travel time from Epping is around 1 hour, and we should arrive by 9:30 am at Links Rd St Marys, near Charles St and Triggs St. A location map will be available. Sturdy closed footware is mandatory.
