Guided tour of Susannah Place Museum

For our August outing we will take a guided tour of the Susannah Place Museum in The Rocks. The tour will be provided by the same organisation that last year gave us a very impressive tour of Vaucluse House. Susannah Place was built in 1844 and was continuously occupied until 1990. The museum re-creates the lives of individual families of the 19th and 20th centuries.

After the tour we will proceed to the Bowlers club for a diverse smorgasbord lunch.

We will meet at Epping to catch the 9:49 train on platform 5, changing at Wynyard for Circular Quay. The museum is about 8 minutes walk from Circular Quay, including 60 steps.

The cost for the tour and lunch will be $25.
