6, 128 to 131 The first six, delivered in May 1944 and the other four, delivered in November 1945, were lowbridge buses for working route 127. D128 to D131 had moquette holstered seats on tubular steel frames. The front of the dropped upper deck gangway projected into the drivers cab. D7 to 126 These buses had 56 seat double deck bodies of normal height, wartime construction, entering service between August 1944 and July 1945. D133 to 137, 141, 143 to 149, 151 to 154, 156 to 159, 161, 164 to 170, 172 to 179 Double deckers for Green Line services, based on CWA 6 chassis with improved Duple body. D127, 132, 138 to 140, 142, 150, 155, 160, 162, 163, 171, 180, 181 CWD 6 chassis with Daimler six cylinder diesel engine rated at 48 hp. Chassis was an entirely new design, with nearly all components (including the rear axle) of Daimler Company's manufacture, improved fluid flywheel transmission and more refined radiator with vertical slats. D127 had a Daimler engine, but was identical with D93 to 126 series having been delivered four months before the CWD series. D182 to 281 Entered service in 1946. CWA 6 chassis with improved radiator. Bodywork a transitional type between war and peacetime standards, and fitted with LPTB standard destination and route indicators.
