How To Get Feng Shui To Work For You

Feng Shui literally means "Wind and Water", a poetic reference to appropriate locations for activities and quiet spaces within a building. With good Feng Shui buildings are beautiful and enhance people's life experiences. They don’t just look good, but feel good as well.

If you are like most people, you would like to know how to use Feng Shui to improve your wealth, health or relationships.

Contrary to popular books, there is no set location for the wealth, relationship or other corners. This is false information. However, there is a direction in each building that carries very radiant life-energy. Open your house in this direction and you’ll have a great building with great wealth potential.

But careful! This direction is different for each building, depending on its construction time and exact compass orientation. Only advanced formulas of Feng Shui can reveal its individual location. They also reveal the best individual positions for sleeping, health, study success, work and romance within a building or a room.

Soulspace Feng Shui recommendations are tailored to your individual needs and activities.

During a consultation you will find out:

  • Where to sleep so your health and relationships are supported;

  • How to tap into the most radiant ‘wealth’ energies;

  • Where to best locate your workspace, study, etc.

  • Which colours and decor to use to enhance your space;

  • How to design internal and external pathways to bring the radiant energy into a building;

  • How to design a building from scratch or improve an existing situation.

What Can Happen When the Feng Shui is not Right!

There is a tangible and an intangible dimension to Feng Shui. The tangible side considers the placement of the physical features such as the landscape, and layout of the building. The intangible dimension creates the ‘feel’ and flavour of a building. It is important that the physical features are beautiful and that doors, furniture and landscaping elements are positioned correctly, but this alone are not enough. The intangible aspects of Feng Shui need also be taken into consideration if the building is to feel right and you are to live a happy life there.

These aspects are calculated using traditional Feng Shui formulas. I use them to create an individual map of the various influences that determine the feel and flavour of your building. (These influences consist of various forms of what we, in Feng Shui, call "Qi."  Qi is hard to translate into English as there is no concept for this.  It cover a number of unseen influences that affect you in your building.) This unique map shows you the best areas  for activity and business, and the best areas for rest, health and communication in your building. It also informs you how to best decorate in order to achieve harmonious living.

If you ignore this intangible dimension, you may end up trying to sleep on an ‘energetic highway’ and then wonder why you can’t sleep or keep 'getting sick.  You may have your office in a ‘sleepy zone’ and wonder why you never get anything done.

Here is what happened to an advertising company

Their business had been quickly expanding, so they had moved into a new, larger space. Unfortunately, after the move,  the business suddenly turned sour. Contracts were lost; they had to lay-off staff and experienced many internal conflicts. Their new space felt heavy despite the newly created, innovative décor. My Feng Shui analysis revealed that they inadvertently had aggravated intangible influences that indicated loss of money and arguments. This could have been easily prevented with Feng Shui analysis before their move and the extensive renovations.

This is how a house brought on marital stress

After moving into a new home, a lovely couple in a long term, very happy and loving relationship, suddenly developed marital problems. The family atmosphere had exploded and they were constantly fighting and picking on each concerning things that had never mattered before. My Feng Shui analysis revealed that the theme of "relationship breakdown" was being carried into their whole house from the front door. This situation was quickly and  fully resolved by the redirection of the main pathway into the house that then activated the positive influences.

The Benefits of Good Feng Shui

With good Feng Shui your building feels radiant. You will sleep where your health and relationships are best supported; and you will enjoy living areas that are filled with radiant life force. You will study and work in areas where you feel alert and can produce your desired outcomes. Colours and décor will support the life enhancing influences and minimise any potential negative effects in each area of the building.

The energy in here is HEAPS better. - Oh, by the way, we made 'gains' in the bedroom straight away and it has continued since then. Ah hah, yahoo......... I have relaxed more and feel more calmness. My room feels much more peaceful. I've been working each day and it's been relatively easy. My new desk area feels good. My energy has definitely increased as a result of the changes. P. Sydney

People have commented many times since on the 'nice feel' my place has... Also I have noticed that I am much less tired in front of my computer since I changed the room around and I get a window view out of it as well...

The energies in my home have turned around significantly. Previously, my money seemed to be pouring out on expense after expense. Major household items were breaking down, and no sooner was I over one financial disaster, than another one would happen. Now I have implemented Brigitte's recommendations, I have money left over each week I can save, with new opportunities for making money happening regularly. I feel less stressed about money, more secure and more optimistic. C. N. Mullumbimby

Since you have done the Feng Shui in our house, things have become much better. We have created a comfortable and beautiful office for our business and my husband and I love it. We spend so much more time in it and therefore get so much more done. But best of all, we don't fight any more like we did in the old office space. We are really excited about our new space and feel very comfortable and settled in it. A. & G. ACT

Soulspace Feng Shui Analysis

The best time to apply Feng Shui is in the design of a building, however, the vast majority of existing buildings can be improved substantially with Feng Shui adjustments.

In a consultation you will get very tangible solutions as to how to handle any problem area your building may have and how to improve your living situation. Feng Shui solutions are based on traditional formulas and may include redirection of people, optimising the use of certain areas, as well as appropriate use colours, shapes and decor. You will find out how to best take advantage of the positive aspects of your building and how to let in as much of the positive radiant energy as possible.

In the design process of a new building the best location for doors and pathways, as well as bedrooms, office, lounge, etc. is determined, so your building can naturally tap into the most beneficial energies. By incorporating a consultation at the start of planing, you will have the opportunity to get your Feng Shui correct in the first place.
