Seamless3d Settings

To open the Settings control panel open the main menu and select settings

This should then show us the Settings control panel with all it's fields that have global affect over Seamless3d

these fields contained in Seamless3d's internal Settings node are automatically saved to the file seamless3dSetup.wrl

version this field should be left to be only modified directly by seamless3d unless you know what you are doing.

backgroundColor defines the color of the background in the 3d window. Any legal X3D SFColor value can be set
scene3dFontColor defines the color of the font in the top left of the 3d window. Any legal X3D SFColor value can be set
windowSize this SFVec3f field defines the size of the 3d window. This field get modified automatically if you changed the size of the window using a mouse or other means to resize the window such as double clicking on the 3d window tittle bar to maximize it.
backFaceIgnore this field when checked makes triangles invisible that do not face us. This field does not take affect unless seamless is closed and reopened. This field has no effect over what is output.
saveGZipped checked makes files zipped when saved or output
writeX3DVRMLClassic checked outputs files coded in X3D VRML classic code
writeX3DXML checked outputs files coded in X3D XML code
genHAnimNodes checked outputs skin animated models using the new X3D skin animation HAnim nodes
genIdxTriSetNodes outputs x3d IndexedTriangleSet nodes in place of IndexedFaceSet nodes
genContactSBVT outputs skin animated files using Bitmanagement/Blaxxun contact's setByVertexTransofrm function
genNormals checked causes normals to be output for IndexedFaceSet and IndexedTriangleSet nodes
genColorIndex checked causes IndexedFaceSet nodes to use the colorIndex or texColorIndex method
roundCoordsSave This field defines how many digits a number is rounded down to the right side of the decimal point for numbers that belong to coord, texCoord and normal field when saved.

perspective when checked shows the geometry in the 3d window with perspective and none if unchecked (orthogonal view)
incDecRes defines the resolution or how much a number will change for most up down buttons (does not include SFRotations) this field also affects keyboard vertex tugging keys.
multiPartTug if checked all nodes can be affected when tugging vertices if the tugRadius field equals a value greater than zero. If unchecked only the selected field can be influenced that are within range of the tugRadius field
tugVertex0X if unchecked non selected vertices whose X component equals zero will not be affected if they are within range of the tugRadius field (this seems to be buggy)
tugRadius defines the range non selected vertices will be affected in relation to the selected vertex when tugged manually. Non selected vertices that are within range are tugged in accordance to the range set and how close they are to the selected vertex.
