    Quotes
    "...very beautiful and appealing..."
    - Robyn Ravlich, Executive Producer, The Listening Room

"This piece....... is remarkable for its cunning construction. The basic melodic ideas are put together so as to create a constantly evolving texture when the 3- part phasing occurs. Although the ideas are simple the piece never becomes boring. The overall effect is delightfully trancifying"

    - Michael Hannon,Associate Professor & Head of Centre,
Centre Of Contemporary Music Southern Cross University.

    Composer's Note
"118, 120, 122 is intended for environments such as cafes, art galleries and the work place. It is designed as a binaural composition and where possible I suggest listening to this CD in stereo to truly enhance the listening experience.

An intricate pattern of identical complex cross-rhythms repeat every 30 seconds, producing a trancifying effect. Because the composition takes 4 hours and 17 minutes to complete all the possible note/pattern combinations, the music unfolds and presents itself to the listener in a much more gradual and subtle fashion than most commercial musics. The listener is allowed to explore the ever changing textures for multiple melodic possibilities rather than being fed only one choice."
