    DRAFTING AND ADVICE:

I enjoy drafting, research and practical advice work. For example, terms, conditions and licences for MeetURplanet.com

    COMMERCIAL EXPERIENCE:

I have commercial litigation experience involving leases, purchases/sales and mortgages.

To further my understanding I completed the following research papers:

1)A critical analysis of the adequacy of the regulatory and practice requirements for private law mortgages in Australia, from an investor's perspective (20,000 words).

    2) Are current statutory remedies for s46 of the Trade Practices Act adequate? (10,000 words) and

    3) The impact of the Trade Practices Act 1974 upon commercial leases (10,000 words).

    PERSONAL INJURIES EXPERIENCE:

I have a thorough knowledge of litigation in its various forms, but most notably in civil litigation, principally personal injuries.

Since June of 2002 I have worked exclusively as a representative for WorkCover Queensland with a diverse portfolio including:

      Regional areas (Townsville & Cairns),

      Specialized work (Dust Diseases) and

      Preferred employers.

Previously, from 1993 until 1995 I also received instructions from both the State Government Commission of South Australia and Suncorp in relation to CTP motor vehicle litigation.

To better understand the developments in the law of negligence I completed a 20,000 words research paper (as part of my LL.M): "The rationalization of the law of negligence and the development of defacto strict liability"

    GENERAL PRACTICE:

Having worked in general practice as a solicitor, stands me in good stead in providing practical solutions.

My general practice experience has laid the foundation for being able to provide advice in a wide number of areas including:

    Wills/Estates,

    Cottage & Commercial Conveyancing,

    Industrial Relations and Employment Law

    Criminal Law and

    Family Law matters.
