These latest emails were instrumental in me keeping going when I was tempted to give up.  Writing is not usually hard work for me, but being sick has been a real stumbling block when it comes to putting up the website.
When I get emails from my friends/fellow-travellers it gives me a spur on, so thankyou dear friends - you know who you are and how much you mean to me, I know, but I wanted to say it again because I realise friends like you don't grow on trees, and with my recent inability to even write email your faith in me must be tested to the limit!
Thanks for being there and caring, and allowing me to share my bit of fun with you.   And thanks for delighting me with your responses!

 

 
well, Miss ozEkoala, aren't you quite the delightful story teller!!  I finally got to sit down and go through the WHOLE thing and enjoyed it so very much. I can't wait for the next one.  I could almost taste the meat pies - we have something similar called a Potpie, a diced veggie, diced meat pie, not so much pepper but are good on a cold day and when you're real hungry also.
 
you've got to be one of the most creative people i've ever met!!!!!  not just saying that either! oohh and about the 5 am thing...  no i dont get up that early, i'm just coming in from the night. :)
 
I woke early this morning although I don't have to report for work until noon and have already reread part of your story. Each time I read it I find something more in it that I didn't see before.
I was particularly concerned about your feeling that your efforts were childish and shallow.  Believe me, dear Bev, they are far from it. How could anything that gives so much pleasure be shallow and as for childish, no, your writing shows a quick wit, a wonderful sense of humor, a playfulness that is refreshing and a knowledge that some suspense makes the project even more inviting than it would naturally be without time interruptions. The pictures are great and bring us more into the story than ever we would be without them.
 
I have just spent the most wonderful time following every word, every labyrinth of your Web pages and printing out every detail. I don't want to miss a thing, not a minute of your story.
I am really sorry to hear that you have been feeling so poorly for so long. I had no idea and I am happy that I sent you that card now that I know how much it meant to you. You have given so much to others in your efforts to keep us abreast of your story and to make us see and feel what you did.  You have succeeded in every way and far surpassed your own expectations, I believe. I know I for one am very grateful for all your efforts and I feel so fortunate to be one of those who managed to become a part of this. Until the next cup of your creative juices...
