I made this one for the Dayview Thimbleberries challenge in May 2005 and was thrilled to be awarded the runner up prize in the professional category. A photo appeared in issue 88 of Down Under Quilts and I received heaps of Thimbleberries fabric and Matilda's batting as my prize. How good it that?
The photo doesn't really show it clearly, but the quilt has tiny cathedral windows in between the Indian Plumes blocks. I think there are 56 pieces in each block but it was a pleasure to construct.
