Onellei
The kingdom of Onellei was founded by the hero Ymir over five hundred years ago and still maintains its respected political standing among the kingdoms of Vetra-sol. The land is segregated into three segments in which the Midland Forest seperates the bridgeways between the northland and southland.
The capital is located in the northland and is a bustling center of activity. Onellei's current ruler, Valthier Kardaine II, presides over the running of the country with the aid of his council at the castle and is widely respected by his people for his efforts protecting the nation's borders from attack during the Escalot War only six years ago.
Valkyre
A centre of magical arts and arcane research is the prospering kingdom of Valkyre located on the frozen west continent. The constant blizzards and snowfall protects the stronghold in the centre of the continent from monsters and (in the case of the Escalot War) enemy forces. While the kingdom has done little to deserve such it harbors a reputation for being scheming and powerhungry because of its ambitious magical research.
The kingdom is lead by Archmage Damascus Almaras who maintains almost complete control of all governmental developments and is responsible for many of the greatest magical accomplishments in history.
Anubera
The silent continent in the southern hemisphere of Vetra-sol is known as Anubera and is homeland to the religious and reclusive narubi. They maintained total neutrality during the Escalot War and have since lost the respect of the humans for not having aided against the demons. The diverse but harsh terrain is half covered in jungle and swamp while the other half covered in dry desert.
The queen of the narubi is Kasumi Asamaki and she is quite indifferent about the opinions the humans hold of her and her people in the light of recent events. She governs the kingdom under religious order and values above all else the safety and well-being of her homeland.
