Helen Jones' first Novo fictional piece, Abbigale, deals with the difficult issue of euthanasia.

Novo's first non-Australian writer, Sharon De Mello, looks at parental relationships in her first piece, It's Not too Late.

Melbourne writer Melanie Fox, also making her Novo debut, looks at the same relationship from  different points of view, in her erotic tale, The End

In her second piece, Believe in Yourself, Sharon De Mello demonstrates the fickle nature of popularity.

Urac Sigma continues his insight into the life of an Australian teenager, in Part Seven of Stephanie.

The second, and concluding, part of Baba Ganoosh's, Suburbs, shows the 'burbs aren't always dull places.
