• To promote the breeding and improvement of the Australian Budgerigar in all its forms

• To protect the interests of Breeders and Exhibitors

• To promote the progress of Scientific knowledge into Budgerigars

• To facilitate the exchange of ideas by the publication of a Bulletin covering the Society's field of work

• To support the exhibition of budgerigars, promote goodwill and assist in any way considered to be of benefit to the Society
