Tips

This is one of the common menu in my hometown, and one of my kids fave.

Best served with:
Wonton Soup, Beef ball, Nyuknyan

Suitable:
For LUNCH, DINNER, or SNACK.

 

MIE AYAM JAMUR
(CHICKEN MUSHROOM NOODLE)

Ingredients/ Bahan:
2       Chicken thigh fillet(Paha ayam tanpa tulang)
1 tbsp Oyster sauce (saus tiram)
1 tsp Pepper (merica)
3 cloves Garlic (bawang putih)
1 can Champignon (Jamur merang kaleng)
1 pack Plain noodle (Mie putih tawar)
1     Spring onion (Daun bawang)
       Fried shallots (bawang merah goreng)
       Oil (minyak)
1 bunch Choy Sum (Sawi cai sim)
       Light soy sauce (kecap asin)
 

Directions/Cara membuat:
English:
1. Diced the chicken.
2. Cut the champignon into half. Chopped garlic, spring onion.
3. Saute the garlic (chopped), with oil until fragrant, and put in the chicken, stir until it cooked thru. Then add the champignon, oyster sauce, pepper, stir through, set aside.
4. Boil the chopped choy sum until cooked and glossy, set aside. Boil a pan of water, then put in some plain noodle. Cook until it soft, drain. Set a bowl with a tbsp of oil, a tbsp of soy sauce, sprinkle of salt and pepper. Put the cooked noodle into the bowl and mix thoroughly, add vegie, mix thru.
5. Give 2-3 spoonful of cooked chicken-mushroom, garnish with spring onion and fried shallots. Serve with a bowl of "Pangsit Kuah".
 
Indonesian:
1. Potong2 ayam seperti dadu. Belah jamur merang. Cacah bawang putih dan potong2 daun bawang.
2. Grengseng bawang putih, lalu masukkan ayam hingga berubah warna, lalu jamur, lalu saus tiram, merica, aduk rata. Sisihkan.
3. Potong2 sawi, rebus hingga berubah warna hijau tua mengkilap, angkat tiriskan.
4. Rebus air, masukkan mie tawar, rebus hingga empuk, tiriskan. Sementara siapkan mangkok yang sudah di beri 1 sdm minyak, 1 sdm kecap asin, sedikit garam dan merica. Masukkan mie matang, aduk2 rata, masukkan beberapa sayur, aduk. Taburkan 2-3 sdm ayam jamur, dan irisan daun bawang serta bawang merah goreng. Dapat disajikan dengan "Pangsit kuah"
