Tips

Lobster/crayfish here usually already been cooked if sold in the supermarket Deli. However, if it has not been cooked, you could boil them in hot water with ginger and salt.

Best served with:
Warm Steamed Rice.

Suitable:
For LUNCH, DINNER.

 

GRILLED CRAYFISH WITH BUTTER
(LOBSTER BAKAR MENTEGA)

Method category: Grill (Bakar)
Ingredients/ Bahan:
2  Cooked Lobster/Crayfish (Lobster rebus)
4  stalks Spring Onion, chopped (daun bawang, iris)
   Salt (garam secukupnya)
   Pepper (merica secukupnya)
2 tbsp Butter/Margarine (mentega)
2 cloves Garlic, chopped (bawang putih, iris halus)
 
Directions/Cara membuat:
English:
1. Cut the lobster into half lengthwise.
2. Heat a pan, put in the garlic and butter, stir fry until fragrant.
3. Pour the hot melted garlic butter on top of each lobster meat. Seasoned with salt and pepper.
4. Sprinkled with spring onion.
5. Grill until browned..
6. Serve with steam rice.

Indonesian:
1. Potong lobster jadi dua memanjang.
2. Grengseng bawang putih dan mentega wangi.
3. Siram mentega panas ke atas daging lobster. Taburkan garam dan merica sesuai selera.
4. Taburkan daun bawang dan panggang/bakar hingga kecoklatan.
5. Hidangkan dengan nasi putih hangat.
