ALMOND COOKIES

Method category: Baking (Panggang)
Ingredients/ Bahan:
110 gr Caster Sugar (Gula halus)
250 gr Butter (Mentega)
1 tsp Vanilla essence
335 gr Plain flour
100 gr Almond flakes (irisan almond)

 

 


Directions/Cara membuat:

English:
1. Preheat oven to (150°C).
2. Beat the butter, sugar and vanilla in a medium bowl with an electric mixer until light and fluffy. Stir in the flour and 3/4 of almonds.
3. Roll rounded teaspoons of mixture into balls, place 2 cm apart on greased oven tryas. Press lightly with a fork. Put a flake of almond on top if each biscuit press lightly.
4. Bake in the oven for about 20 minutes or until a pale straw colour. Let biscuits stands for 10 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool.
5. Dust with sifted icing sugar, if desired.


Indonesian:

1. Mixer mentega, gula dan vanilla essence hingga rata dan ringan.
2. Masukkan tepung dan 3/4 almond.
3. Bulat2 adonan dengan sendok, letakkan di pinggan dengan jarak sekitar 2 cm. Tekan perlahan dengan garpu lalu hias dengan sepotong almond diatasnya.
4. Panggang dalam oven yang sudah dipanaskan hingga 150°C selama 20 menit atau hingga kekuningan.
5. Taburkan gula icing bila suka.
