Zachariah Shergold was born on 29 April 1708 in Great Wishford, Wiltshire, England as the sixth child of Robert Shergold and Frances. He had seven siblings, namely: Jane, Robert, Frances, John, Thomas, Charles, and Robert.

Zachariah Shergold married Mary Wheeler, daughter of William Wheeler.

2. Stephen Shergold was born in 1739 in Great Wishford, Wiltshire, England. He died in 1759.

3. Richard Shergold was born on 18 December 1741 in Great Wishford, Wiltshire, England. He died in 1822 in Great Wishford, Wiltshire, England.

4. Henry Shergold was born in 1744 in Great Wishford, Wiltshire, England.

5. Rebecca Shergold was born in 1748 in Great Wishford, Wiltshire, England. She died in 1800 in Great Wishford, Wiltshire, England.

6. Mary Shergold was born in 1751 in Great Wishford, Wiltshire, England. She died on 12 December 1810 in Wiltshire, England.

7. Edward Shergold was born in 1753 in Great Wishford, Wiltshire, England.

8. Thomas Shergold was born in 1759 in Great Wishford, Wiltshire, England. He died in 1829 in Great Wishford, Wiltshire, England.

Zachariah died on 29 April 1763 in Great Wishford, Wiltshire, England.
