William Henry Fielder was born in 1904[1] in Queensland, Australia as the second child of William Henry Fielder and Elizabeth Olsen. He had eight siblings, namely: Kathleen Eveline, Irene Jessie, Lionel Arthur, Eva Joyce, Stella, Horace Allan, Phyllis, and Keith Franklyn.

When he was 27, William married Tryphenie Beatrice Pettiford,daughter of George Pettiford and Mary Anne Moore, in 1931[2] in Queensland, Australia.

He died on 19 August 1963[3] in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia, age 59. He is buried in the Pinnaroo Lawn Cemetery, Aspley, Queensland, Australia.
