Teresa Ehlert was born in 1880[1] in Queensland, Australia as the second child of Herman Ehlert and Augusta Frederica Nachki. She had four siblings, namely: Albert, George August, Alfred Herman, and Martha (Wilhelmina) Auguste.

When she was 28, Teresa married Peter Hollis, son of Robert Hollis and Ellen Bannah, in 1908[2] in Queensland, Australia.

Peter Hollis and Teresa Ehlert had the following children:

1. Cecil Peter Hollis was born in 1908 in Queensland, Australia. He died in 1965 in Queensland, Australia.

Peter died in 1938[3] in Queensland, Australia.

Teresa died in 1951[4] in Queensland, Australia, age 71.
