Sarah Fielder was born on 25 March 1867[1] in Queensland, Australia as the sixth child of William Henry Fielder and Lucy Ward. She had eleven siblings, namely: Walter, William Henry, Angelina Elizabeth, Mary Ann, James, John Thomas, Clara Agnes, Louisa Agnes, Euphemia Alice, Edward Albert Robert, and Beatrice.

 

When she was 18, Sarah married William Francis Glover, son of Amos Glover and Edith Hutchinson, on 3 November 1886[2] in Queensland, Australia.

 

William Francis Glover and Sarah Fielder had the following children:

 

1. Robert Henry Glover was born in 1887 in Queensland, Australia.  He married Wilhelmina Fredricks in 1909 in Queensland, Australia. Robert died on 21 September 1947 in Queensland, Australia.

 

2. May Evelyn Glover was born in 1889 in Queensland, Australia.

 

3. William Francis Glover was born in 1892 in Queensland, Australia. He died in 31 March 1910 in Queensland, Australia.

 

4. Florence Glover was born in 1894 in Queensland, Australia.

 

5. Harold Glover was born in 1896 in Queensland, Australia. He died in 1955 in Queensland, Australia.

 

6. Doris Glover was born in 1899 in Queensland, Australia. She married Matthew Pierce in 1920 in Queensland, Australia. Doris died in 1985 in Queensland, Australia.

 

7. Nathanial Glover was born in 1901 in Queensland, Australia. He died in 1916 in Queensland, Australia.

 

8. Lilian Ethel Glover was born in 1903 in Queensland, Australia. She married Ernest Irving Springfield in 1923 in Queensland, Australia. Lilian died in 1973 in Queensland, Australia.

 

9. Cecil Victor Glover was born in 1906 in Queensland, Australia.

William and Sarah ran Harrop's store in Wickham street, Fortitude Valley, Brisbane.

 

William died on 09 March 1927[3] in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia, age 58.

 

Sarah died on 21 January 1954[4] in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia, age 86.

MAN FOUND DEAD - BULLET IN THE HEAD - An elderly man named William Glover was found dead at his residence in James Street, New Farm, Wednesday. A rifle was found near by. Ambulance bearers were summoned, but on their arrival life was extinct. A bullet had entered the head, through the mouth. The body was conveyed to tho morgue, where a post mortem will be held. The deceased was a married man aged 54 years.

STOREKEEPER'S DEATH. - RIFLE BULLET IN BRAIN. - William Glover (54, married), storekeeper, of James-street New Farm, was found dead at his residence yesterday morning as the result of a bullet wound in the head. Just before 10 o clock his wife and son, who were in the store heard the report of a rifle from one of the back rooms and on going in found the deceased on the floor A rifle was lying by his side and a subsequent examination of the body indicated that the deceased had placed the muzzle in his mouth before the trigger was pulled. Death must have been instintaneous. When the Ambulance Brigade arrived life was extinct.
